“We were there for the first time today for the Halloween fairy garden class, and it was a wonderful experience. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. The grounds are amazing. I can’t wait to return in 2 weeks for the pumpkin painting, and to look out at their beautiful landscape. What a gem! So glad we have found this place.”
Elizabeth Foose
“Outstanding service, and superior nursery material — wish I could give them 10 stars!!!!
Diane Salks gave me personal service to select the right tree for the location & she had a ton of patience with my goofy questions. I highly recommend going to Riverview Nursery & Garden Center for all your Nursery & Garden Center needs. They consistently prove they are the best of the best.”
Don Moll
“The workshops are absolutely fantastic. The staff is friendly, and if you need assistance with anything they are right there to help. I love this nursery. It is a wonderful place to visit.”
Kathy O'Rourke
“I recently attended a charity event at Riverview and I was more than surprised at what I found! Not only was it a blast and it raised money & holiday presents for an amazing cause, the expansiveness of the selection there for gardening was immense. I had no idea how large Riverview was until I walked in! They also hold classes now and then and you can BELIEVE I will be attending one to make a fairy garden. Thank you Diane for not only owning this amazing place but for helping the community as well whenever you can.”
Rachael Romig
“I have known Diane and her staff for many years. She has worked hard to train all of them to be experts in their field. If you have a gardening question, this is the place to go! They will always go above and beyond to assist you and your current project. They are certainly a “little gem” along the Pricetown Road.”
Janet Mutter
“I attended a workshop there today for terrariums…The class was fun and informative. We happened to stop by a few months ago just having a midweek drive and fell in love with this place. I will be back for more workshops and to build a terrarium on my own now that I know how!”
Tara Mogel
“I faithfully visit Riverview Nursery to get my pond plants, never disappointed and always receive special attention. My second favorite thing to do there is browse through their store. Beautiful, out-of-the-ordinary gifts and I especially LOVE their Faerie Garden items. Never leave there disappointed. Their employees are very friendly and help to make all my visits to their Nursery fun. Love going there!!”
Sue Zimmerman
“Magical Place~”
Jena Eve Knoll
“While most people are enjoying the day off on Labor Day, Riverview Nursery and their staff are still hard at work serving the people of Berks County and beyond. On Labor Day morning, this year, I wanted some hardy mums to plant at our memorial at Post 878 of the American Legion, in Oley. I got 10 of the most beautiful red, and white mums. Everyone at the Legion and in the community is so impressed with the mums; and say they are the prettiest they have seen.

A GREAT BIG THANKS to Diane, and her wonderful staff for making our Labor Day, and our Legion Post look just WONDERFUL!!!”

James R. Erwin, Adjutant, Post 878, American Legion
“We have been customers of Riverview for years….. we have purchased everything from Christmas trees to bird feed at the garden center. The staff is great at helping you find the right product for the job you are doing and it does not stop there. They can handle landscaping, ponds, and all your big outdoor projects as well. Check them out.”
Forrest Glass
“I went to a Painting class at Riverview which is another plus for shopping at Riverview- in addition to their quality plants and shrubs and great gift shop. It is always a pleasure to deal with them.”
Joan Sher
“Riverview is where I go for all my landscaping needs. The designers are professional, knowledgeable, courteous and helpful. The designers actually work on the job. From my experience, this is not always the case with other businesses. Riverview takes into consideration the size of plants at maturity and will only sell you plants that you need for the size of your garden. This is an important point as I’ve had others install too many plants and in years to come, end up having to dig these plants out because they are too big.”
Susie Harvan
“Best Nursery in Berks! Not only do they have great service and great people, they have great products to offer. I will not go to another nursery or landscaper – these guys are the best.”
Tim Meade
“I remember visiting the store in the mid 1990s and watched as Diane expanded it since then in physical size, inventory, employees, and community outreach. She and the business are such a huge success.

I have always been so proud of these three arborvitae Riverview planted in my yard probably in 1992-1993. They have grown strong and been healthy from day 1 and serve as the perfect privacy fence along the side of my deck, which wasn’t my intent when I had them planted but am glad it worked out that way.

I love the Sunday workshops you offer. The first one I attended was growing herbs in pots. I learned how to plant and grow in pots tomatoes, basil, and peppers. They flourished on my deck and lasted me all season.”
